BORNHOLM
The danish sunshine island!
Four days at Bornholm has been so much more than expected. I can now change from normal clothing in my car, to put my surfski in the water in under 15 minutes. I now also have great routines changing very fast after. I learned so much about the Bornholm weather, waves, coast and environment.
I only had three short paddles, in three very different areas. But I have used all my knowledge to plan, find good spots to get in and out and stay safe on a big ocean with rocks, cliffs and unknown power.
And I did have a great friend with me all the time, either walking her dog along shore, or meeting me in the next city - Lucky me.
I did one paddle at Hammers Hus. One at Svaneke and one south of Rønne. I was lucky, because the wind was changing its direction a lot. I made it possible for me to explore more areas of the island.
